We are currently seeking a .NET Azure Developer to join our team in Heredia, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR).

Position overview

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join our development team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications using Microsoft technologies and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in .NET, SQL, Azure, and front-end frameworks to deliver high-quality software solutions. The developer will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and ensuring best practices in software development.

Position's General Duties and Tasks :

  • Perform detailed design of application and technical architecture components.
  • Develop, configure, program, and test .NET-based applications.
  • Design and maintain APIs, microservices, and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects and performance issues.
  • Leverage Azure services such as App Services, Service Bus, SQL Managed Instance, and Blob storage.
  • Implement Entity Framework code-first models and SQL stored procedures.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and architects to ensure requirements are met.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards.
  • Use Agile methodologies for iterative delivery of features.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Qualifications

Must have Skills :

  • 10+ years of experience with .NET (C#.NET, Web API, Entity Framework, code-first approach).
  • 10+ years of experience working with MS SQL.
  • 8+ years of experience leveraging Azure cloud services (App Services, Service Bus, Azure Functions).
  • 4+ years of experience with Angular or .NET Blazor web apps.

    • Nice to have :

  • Experience with pub-sub frameworks.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI / CD, and Git / TFS.
  • Agile Scrum methodology experience.
  • Knowledge of application security best practices.
  • Exposure to performance tuning and system optimization.

    • Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Microsoft Certified : Azure Developer Associate or equivalent (preferred).
