Electric Product Design Engineer

Job Summary
ATL Technology is seeking an Electric Product Design Engineer to lead the design and development of electronic and electromechanical medical devices. This role involves working across teams to ensure product functionality, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual and detailed design of medical devices using electronic modeling software
- Analyze product requirements and specifications to identify design improvements and feasibility
- Conduct design of experiments for new assembly processes to improve yield and develop new technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, manufacturing, and operations
- Plan and execute design projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Select and approve materials and components based on durability, compatibility, and manufacturing requirements
- Prepare and approve technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, SOPs, and assembly instructions
- Train personnel on new equipment and processes
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to design and manufacturability
- Propose and implement improvements in fixture design and construction processes
- Manage suppliers and resources for material acquisition and subcontracting
- Communicate project progress effectively to stakeholders and monitor goal achievement
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or Physics1–2 years of experience in electrical design within a regulated industry (medical devices preferred)Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2 level in reading and writing)Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProficiency in :Hardware : digital design, circuit analysis, PCB layout, SMT and through-hole soldering
Software : C, C++, C#, and assembly languagesGeneral engineering : design reviews, drawing analysis, test planning, troubleshooting, and fixture designAbility to interpret complex technical instructions and solve abstract problemsCapable of lifting up to 25 pounds and working in moderate noise environmentsAbout ATL Technology
