Were Hiring : WordPress / PHP Developer

Location : On-site / Hybrid Costa Rica | Full-Time

Are you passionate about building high-performance, custom WordPress sites? Do you live and breathe PHP and love clean, maintainable code? Were looking for a seasoned WordPress / PHP Developer to join our talented dev team and help us build powerful, customized WordPress solutions for exciting digital projects.

In this role, youll work on both back end (PHP / SQL), and front-end (HTML, JS, CSS, Astro, Tailwind) projects. You'll be joining a collaborative, high-energy team in a fun and relaxed (yet professional) work environment.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Building custom features and functionality using PHP within WordPress
  • Developing pixel-perfect, responsive pages from Figma / XD designs
  • Ensuring top performance, clean code, and strong technical execution
  • Supporting SEO and performance goals through best coding practices
  • Collaborating with designers, team leads, and QA to ensure seamless delivery

What Were Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in WordPress / PHP development
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and GIT
  • Experience building responsive, mobile-first websites
  • Ability to turn Figma / XD files into fully functional WordPress sites
  • Familiarity with DevTools, Firebug, and other debugging tools
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and CSS specificity
  • Knowledge of WordPress REST API and working with external APIs
  • Clear communicator who can collaborate with peers and managers
  • Bonus : Knowledge of Laravel, Tailwind, and version control
  • Bonus : Understanding of SEO from a developers perspective

  • Logging into your VM, VPN, DevOps, MatterMost, Outlook
  • Quick morning call with the dev team
  • Reviewing tasks in DevOps
  • Coding, testing, debugging
  • Collaborating and making cool things happen
