Position Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the material handling team. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives, while driving the department’s strategy and continuous improvement. The role organizes and schedules department activities to meet customer demands, provides direction and motivation to staff, and ensures training and support to comply with the quality system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction across the entire material handling team, including shipping, receiving, warehouse, kitting (picking), and cycle counting.
• Ensure that material handling tasks and the relevant system transactions are completed correctly, and that the accuracy of those transactions is maintained.
• Ensure the department’s compliance with legal regulations, ISO 13485 standards, company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Understand the requirements and ensure compliance with the site Quality Management System (QMS).
• Develop and use metrics to improve the team’s safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Plan, organize, and schedule departmental activities to meet production and product development needs.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with the cycle count program. Leverage the results of the cycle count program to continuously improve processes or the integrity of ERP data.
• Advise other users on the proper use of the Cirtec ERP system, ensuring correct execution of transactions.
• Proactively coordinate material and system requirements to minimize downtime and recommend actions to improve production methods, yields, and product quality.
• Supervise and support staff responsible for functions within the warehouse area.
• Supervise and lead assigned staff members.
• Manage the time and attendance system for the assigned material handlers.
• Develop a deep understanding of the processes within the material handling team.
• Plan and implement staff training, including both general and product-specific skills. Act as a trainer when necessary.
• Understand the requirements and ensure compliance with the site Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure all documentation is properly completed and complies with the company’s quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, logistics, or other related fields.
• +4 years of experience in warehousing and materials management, preferably in a medical device manufacturing environment, and preferably in leadership roles.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak english at an intermediate level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership potential.
• Experience in monitoring, managing, reporting, and driving metrics.
• Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite and Made2Manage or a similar ERP system.
• Understanding and implementation of Lean Manufacturing for process improvement and problem-solving.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP business functions.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Experience in technical report writing and verbal communication skills.
