Overview
Lutron has an immediate opening for a Senior Lead Financial Analyst to support our Operations Finance Team. This position will be a key part of the Corporate Finance Team supporting monthly financial forecasting for Cost of Goods Sold. A successful Senior Lead Financial Analyst will have a working knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, strong data manipulation skills, and the initiative to learn and add value to the business.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Lead Financial Analyst supporting Operations Finance, the successful candidate will :
- Lead Forecasting Coordination : Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the organization to consolidate and deliver monthly and quarterly financial forecasts for Lutron’s global manufacturing network.
- Provide Strategic Financial Insights : Assess trends in operating expenses, capital investments, and related metrics to support forecast accuracy and contribute to broader financial strategy.
- Evaluate Business Impacts : Support plant leadership by analyzing the financial implications, risks, and opportunities of proposed business initiatives and operational changes.
- Deliver Performance Reporting : Produce and refine monthly variance analyses for plant spending, presenting insights and recommendations to senior Operations leadership to guide decision-making.
- Ensure Financial Integrity : Partner with regional plant accounting teams during month-end close to validate financial data and ensure compliance with corporate financial policies.
- Mentor and Develop Talent : Act as a senior resource and mentor for members of the Costa Rica-based Operations Finance team, fostering growth and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.5+ years work experience in finance and / or accounting with monthly reporting responsibilityStrong Excel data analytical skills requiredExperience in manufacturing is preferredExperience in SAP is a plusLutron is the worldwide leader in lighting, automated shade and temperature controls.
