Job brief

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior WordPress Developer with deep expertise in Elementor and WordPress coding standards to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress-based websites with a focus on performance, functionality, and design precision. Your ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code is critical, as is your proficiency in understanding and implementing complex website designs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites, focusing on Elementor-based builds.
  • Create and implement custom themes and plugins according to project requirements.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code adhering to WordPress coding standards.
  • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, compatibility issues, and other technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure project goals are met.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in WordPress development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a senior-level WordPress developer with a portfolio showcasing Elementor-based projects.
  • Strong expertise in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript / jQuery .
  • Advanced knowledge of Elementor , including custom widget development and advanced configurations.
  • Proficiency in building custom themes and plugins from scratch.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON integration .
  • Experience with modern development workflows, including Git version control .
  • Strong understanding of website performance optimization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Fluent command of English for effective communication and documentation.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools .
