This position is Remote to work with a US Company; you will require to have Citizenship or a work permit from Costa Rica or Colombia to apply for this role.

Role summary : You will design and develop Power BI solutions to transform data into actionable insights for US-based clients.

This role involves building robust data models, creating efficient SQL queries, and implementing advanced DAX and M logic for scalable, cloud-based analytics.

Responsibilities : Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports using best practices.

Build and optimize SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and visualization.

Develop efficient data models and transformations using Power Query (M) and DAX.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports.

Publish and maintain reports in Power BI Service (Cloud).

Optimize report performance and manage workspace permissions.

Stay updated on Power BI features and continuously enhance report usability and performance.

Requirements – Must-haves : Intermediate SQL development skills (querying, joins, aggregations).

Proven experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.

Practical knowledge of Power BI Service (cloud-based deployments).

Hands-on experience using M (Power Query) and DAX for data modeling and transformations.

Understanding of data relationships, normalization, and ETL concepts.

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves (optional) Experience integrating Power BI with Azure or other cloud data sources.

Exposure to Power Automate or related Microsoft Power Platform tools.

Knowledge of performance tuning and large dataset optimization in Power BI.
