Data Engineering Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Interfell. We are currently looking for a DATA ENGINEERING MANAGER in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Manager to lead and grow a dynamic data engineering team. In this role, you will oversee cloud-based data architecture, manage technical delivery, and ensure the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-quality data solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders and clients, driving innovation and continuous improvement across data practices. This fully remote position allows you to operate from any Latin American country, while collaborating with a global team in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Your leadership will directly impact data strategy, engineering excellence, and overall business outcomes.

Accountabilities

• Lead and manage teams of Data Engineers, ensuring high technical quality and timely project delivery.
• Define, implement, and monitor cloud data architecture using Azure and Databricks.
• Design and execute data integration strategies with Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Ensure adherence to standards for security, quality, and scalability across all data initiatives.
• Serve as the primary technical representative for the team to clients and stakeholders.
• Promote innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement in data engineering processes.
