Job Summary

The Process Engineer II is responsible for ensuring production standards are met, product quality is maintained, and process flow is optimized. This role supports the implementation of new manufacturing projects and daily production goals across one or more areas. The engineer analyzes systems and key performance indicators to drive efficiency and continuous improvement, supports CAPA and NCR activities, and collaborates across technical, engineering, quality, production, and sales teams to ensure successful product introductions and technical transfers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Licenciatura preferred)
  • Experience in manufacturing process development and validation activities such as PFMEA, Validation Plans, IQ / OQ / PQ, PPAP, Scientific Molding, DOE (preferred)
  • 4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in component design for plastic injection molding, metal forming / stamping, and electromechanical devices (preferred)
  • SolidWorks certification (preferred)
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as injection molding, vertical molding, wire extrusion, metal stamping, SMT assembly (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with production standards, product quality, and process flow
  • Support production teams in meeting daily business expectations
  • Maintain standard production processes and meet safety, quality, and volume targets
  • Analyze systems and KPIs to evaluate efficiency and compliance
  • Drive timely improvements based on production metrics
  • Apply critical thinking to improve production efficiency
  • Support CAPA, NCR, and pFMEA activities
  • Draft and review product documentation including work instructions, drawings, proposals, and technical reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and technical transfers
