Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered. Minimum 0- 3 years experience. Experience gained within a hi-volume manufacturing environment preferred. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles preferred. Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Strong data management and analytical skills. Adaptable, flexible and able to work with minimum supervision while prioritizing tasks. Manage a portfolio of vendors and drive material supply in line with factory demand. Review MRP in SAP to assess Raw Material demand and plan procurement activities accordingly. Manage Raw Material Inventory based on the demand forecast. Conduct weekly supplier reviews to help maintain supplier on time delivery performance, focusing on service and delivery targets. Execute rolling forecasts & Purchase Orders to the supply base in a timely manner to ensure flexible production planning & supply to meet factory requirements. Utilize SAP to generate reports & extract data to manage forecasting, supply and planning of materials to and from the factory. Review and placement of orders for Raw Material parts for New Product introduction projects. Ensure that master data is accurate and up to date to support procurement decisions. Identify opportunities to achieve positive cost savings across the supply chain. Ensure timely actions of Non Conformance for the items to be returned to the vendor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Manage a portfolio of vendors and drive material supply in line with factory demand.
- Review MRP in SAP to assess Raw Material demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
