As we prepare for our planned expansion into Costa Rica, we are building a strong foundation for future growth. This role, based in San José and hired through our Employer of Record partner, is part of the preparatory phase supporting this exciting next chapter.

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Manager to join our Costa Rica team. This role will focus on contract management and execution, ensuring agreements are drafted, negotiated, signed, and tracked efficiently. You will also support compliance with Costa Rica’s free trade zone requirements and assist with HR-related matters in Costa Rica and the U.S.

This is a new and exciting hands-on, operational role where you will own the end-to-end contract lifecycle and act as a bridge between our Costa Rica office, U.S. operations, and the global Legal & Compliance team based in Barcelona, Spain. Arbolus serves clients globally.

Key responsibilities you will be in charge of

Contracts Management & Execution (ESSENTIAL)

• Own the global contract lifecycle : intake, drafting, review, negotiation support, approval, signature, storage, and renewals.
• Coordinate with the Data Privacy and Operational Compliance teams where necessary.
• Maintain and update contract templates, playbooks, and approval workflows.
• Track contractual obligations and deadlines, ensuring internal teams meet requirements.
• Proficiency using Hubspot, PandaDoc (or similar software).
• Support business teams in partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and client services agreements.

Compliance & Operational Support (HIGHLY DESIRABLE)
