The majority of our clients are Fortune 1000 companies that trust Delbridge Solutions as a partner to support their business processes.  Who You Are  You are an experienced Database Administrator with expertise in PostgreSQL and a strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.

You’ll support our clients' data management needs, ensuring optimal database performance, security, and availability across various platforms.

You’re adaptable, driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting environment where each client may have unique requirements.  What You Will Be Doing  Set up, configure, and manage PostgreSQL databases for high performance, scalability, and reliability.  Build and manage replication and sharding for PostgreSQL and other database platforms, including MongoDB.  Optimize indexes and queries to improve performance across multiple client environments.  Design and implement robust backup and recovery solutions.  Monitor database health, identifying and resolving issues related to query performance, replication lags, node failures, and system usage metrics.  Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and maintenance tasks with minimal downtime.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to understand requirements and provide technical expertise for database solutions.  Provide regular database health checks and insights to stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and timely reporting.  Required Skills and Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).  Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including configuration, performance tuning, and backup / recovery.  Hands-on experience with other SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and MariaDB / MySQL.  Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python) for efficient database management.  Familiarity with Ops Manager automation and other database management tools.  Strong problem-solving skills and experience leading database solutions in collaborative, cross-functional teams.  Ability to work effectively across multiple client projects, managing priorities and adapting to each client’s unique needs.  Security clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred).  Success Measures   Timeliness : Consistently meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality results to support client needs and project milestones.  Client Satisfaction : Building strong relationships with clients, soliciting feedback, and proactively addressing needs to ensure satisfaction and alignment with business objectives.  Cross-Functional Collaboration : Working effectively with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.  Adaptability : Staying current with database technologies and adapting to changing client needs and industry advancements.  Why Delbridge Solutions  As Delbridge Solutions grows, we focus on :   Collaboration : We believe that every team member contributes valuable insights.
