Your role at Baxter

At Baxter, we are building a best-in-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. We are implementing a ground-breaking program that will streamline processes, enhance systems, improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen business partnerships and enhance opportunities for personal skill-building and professional growth.

Your Team

This new position is an extension of the local country and global Finance Team. This position interacts with the Americas FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE) leadership team as well as in-country, regional, global and corporate finance, and business partners within the Americas Region and the world. This role will support the planning processes, annual budgeting, forecasting processes and monthly performance reviews. In addition, this position will support high valuable business analytics as well as drive the development of senior management presentations for the operations function.

What you'll do be doing

Lead comprehensive planning and reporting processes including monthly financial outlooks, Annual Operating Plans, Quarterly Forecasts, and Long-Range Plan.

Consolidate the financial results of the global fulfillment organization on a monthly basis

Work closely with the finance team for each division to ensure accurate, complete and timely submissions of MRR / QRR / Planning decks

Prepare financial reports and analysis for management, including a global and “by business” view with analysis and explanations for variances vs the planning scenarios

Support the fulfillment finance teams for each division / region by providing guidance, presentation materials / templates for the MRR, QRR and Forecast / Plan / LRP scenarios for the fulfillment P&L

Provide financial and business support to the function enabling optimal business decisions.

Perform adhoc analysis for strategic evaluations, financial simulations and excel modelling to provide informative recommendations and support for management decision making

Drive and own global financial initiatives alignment with function along with updates in global FP&A processes

Act as trusted business partner, demonstrating financial and business expertise to drive financial decisions

Effectively communicate of key design initiatives from the Global FP&A Group to key partners / broader organization as appropriate, including Senior Management

Help transform the finance organization mentality from backward-looking to forward-looking

What you'll bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required

MBA, CA, CPA, ICWA with 5 years of relevant work experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications (JDE, Cognos BI, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Tableau, etc.)

Fully bilingual (English and Spanish), minimum level C1

Strong organizational and time management skills able to multitask and prioritize effectively

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business partners

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a high degree of initiative and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership and collaboration abilities to effectively handle cross-functional teams

Proven track record in Forecasting and Financial Analysis

Ability to work cross-functionally and prioritize multiple priorities

Eagerness to learn and continuously improve with willingness to challenge the status quo
