Wordpress Developer (Remote - Latam)

This role offers the opportunity to lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of high-quality WordPress websites for a variety of clients. You will be responsible for creating secure, scalable, and SEO-optimized websites, implementing custom themes and plugins, and integrating third-party services. Collaborating closely with UI / UX designers and stakeholders, you will ensure that websites are visually appealing, fully responsive, and high-performing. This position requires a proactive problem-solver who can troubleshoot complex issues, implement best coding practices, and provide technical support. The role is fully remote for LATAM-based professionals and offers a dynamic environment where your work directly impacts client success and growth.

Accountabilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress, plugins, and hosting environments.
• Implement responsive design and ensure websites are mobile-friendly.
• Conduct website audits to improve security, performance, and SEO.
• Collaborate with UI / UX designers to translate designs into functional WordPress websites.
• Manage version control (Git) and adhere to best coding practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality.
• Ensure website security, backups, and regular updates.
• Support Pardot forms, landing pages, and email templates implementation.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams when needed.
