We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing logistics activities related to transportation, import and export operations, documentation, and warehouse support. This role requires a strong understanding of international shipping processes, cost control, and continuous improvement in logistics performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in end-to-end supply chain operations.
Job Responsibilities :
1. Transportation and Logistics Management
- Negotiate transportation rates (domestic and international) with carriers and freight forwarders.
- Coordinate shipping logistics for import and export operations.
- Prepare and manage all required shipping documentation (Import & Export).
- Confirm and sign shipping invoices for approval by the Finance department.
- Create and submit DUAs (Single Administrative Documents) for international shipments.
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
2. Import and Export Operations
Coordinate the importation of purchased goods.Investigate and document damages or discrepancies in received imports.Provide end-to-end shipment support through final delivery.Track and manage sample and sterilization shipments, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory agencies to guarantee timely and compliant import and export operations.3. Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
Monitor and report logistics KPIs, including On-Time Delivery and Logistics Cost.Identify process improvement opportunities and submit Change Orders (COs) for updates to Work Instructions (WIs).Address warehouse non-conformities (NCs) related to shipping activities.4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Follow up on quotations, shipments, and required equipment for warehouse operations.Participate in recurring meetings with :Supply Chain TeamWarehouse T1 TeamWarehouse T2 TeamActively manage and respond to communications in the logistics email inbox.5. Training and Compliance
Complete required corporate training programs, including :Learning Management System (LMS)Nextern Cyber Security TrainingRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.5 + years of experience in logistics, shipping, or international trade (preferred).Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and customs procedures.Experience with transportation negotiation and vendor coordination.Must know customs legislation.Experience in Free Zone regulations.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); ERP systems (EPICOR) knowledge is a plus.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.Advanced English level (B2+, C1)Must demonstrate value-adding competencies in establishing collaborative relations.Benefits
