We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain and production planning processes. This role is responsible for managing the procurement of direct and indirect materials, developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships (both domestic and international), and ensuring efficient support for national production and new product development. Additionally, the role will lead production planning efforts to ensure timely and cost-effective availability of materials, aligning supply with manufacturing demand and capacity.
Job Responsibilities :
Generate, adjust, and expedite purchase orders based on MRP (Material Requirements Planning), in coordination with other key business functions such as schedule adherence, S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), etc.
- Interact with headquarters to ensure alignment with customer purchase forecasts, inter-site material supply, shipment of finished goods, and related processes.
- Develop all standard operating procedures (SOPs) required for the proper functioning of the department.
- Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and other relevant departments to ensure timely performance and proper prioritization of incoming materials.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels in alignment with all departments of the company and determine appropriate priorities for material needs.
- Track and monitor purchase orders, stay informed of any issues or delays, and communicate any potential impacts or constraints to the affected departments.
- Generate purchase orders related to services, equipment, spare parts, and other expenses as required by the company.
- Develop and maintain the company’s inventory system, covering both direct and indirect materials and supplies.
- Implement and maintain all necessary requirements for proper operation under the Free Trade Zone Regime.
- Select suppliers according to company guidelines.
- Develop supplier contracts as required by the company.
- Monitor and report on supplier quality and delivery performance to both suppliers and the global operations team.
- Resolve supplier-related issues by working closely with vendors to ensure a positive and professional relationship, always maintaining open lines of communication.
- Control supplier-held assets, dispose of obsolete assets, and monitor aging of other assets when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with CGMP, ISO, and FDA requirements.
- Review and approve all raw material change order documents.
- Maintain accurate purchasing master data, AVL (Approved Vendor List), record information, and more.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.5 + years of experience in managerial roles for international companies.Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and customs procedures.Strong vendor negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.Solid understanding of international trade regulations, logistics, and inventory control systems.Experience in Free Zone regulations.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); ERP systems (EPICOR) knowledge is a plus.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.Advanced English level (B2+, C1)Must demonstrate value-adding competencies in establishing collaborative relations.Benefits
